Like many people, you probably aren't willing to spend a fortune getting dental care from a dentist in New Orleans. To the average dentist, however, price isn't everything. In April 2011, CBS Moneywatch reporter Sarah Butler wrote about her husband's experience getting a pair of replacement crowns. The total bill amounted to $3,442, a figure big enough to startle anyone. Butler's article drew flak from dentists, even though they agreed with some of its points.
